日本のラテン音楽シーンを疾風の如く駆け抜けた彼らの未発表の4thアルバム（2003年レコーディング）が20年の時を経て発売される。
ポップスやブラジリアン、ソウルやディスコといった様々な音楽的要素とキューバン・サルサの融合を目指しつつも、決してマニアックにはならず、ポップでスタイリッシュ。
彼らがこのアルバムにかけた熱量が感じられる、そんな作品に仕上がっている。
Pride of Naniwa(the former name for Osaka region), the original “Naniwan” salsa band, Sabrosura Del Sonido will release the never-released album recorded twenty years ago on July 30th!
Sabrosura Del Sonido is the hybrid Cuban salsa band that had left a major mark on the Japanese Latin music scene despite their period of activity being only a little short of 10 years.
After twenty years of waiting, the never-released album of the legendary band that had ran through the Japanese Latin music scene like a gale is finally being published.
Although their aim is to fuse Cuban salsa and musical elements from various genres, including Pop, Brazilian, Soul and Disco, at a high level, their works are never “only for aficionados”, but rather pop and stylish.
The heat of passion they have put into this album can surely be felt by all who listen to it.
In the midst of an almost hectic series of energetic activities, including their participation in the “Fuji Rock Festival 03” just three years after the release of their first album in 2000, and receiving official invitations from the Cuban government's Cultural Affairs Agency two years consecutively in 2004 and 2005 to participate in their festivals, Sabrosura Del Sonido had shocked us with a sudden breakup. However, their sound was succeeded by the band founded in 2009 named “PANDEMIK”, which has continued its activities. This fall, they will release a new album after ten years since their last album, and launch a national tour to celebrate its release.
